Reciprocal Privileges

I

The privileges of the Society, subject to the limitations imposed by these Rules, shall be extended to Guests and the sponsoring member shall be responsible for all obligations to the Society that may be incurred by such persons.

 

II

'Guests' are (a) the spouses, (b) unmarried children of the member residing in the member's household and (c) persons sponsored by members.

 

III

The privileges of the Society are also extended to members of Clubs with which we have Reciprocal Arrangements. The Reciprocal Club will be responsible for all obligations that may be incurred by their members. Society Members must abide by the terms of payment as established by the Reciprocal Club.

 

IV

The House Committee may extend to any person the privileges of the Society.

 

V

The private dining rooms and function rooms are available to members. A member may sponsor the use of these rooms but the member will be responsible for their use and all costs will be charged to the member's account. A charge will be made for the use of private dining rooms and function rooms.

 

VI

The exclusive use of the Main Dining Room shall not be granted except by prior vote of the Executive Committee. The General Manager, in consultation with the House Committee Chairman or the Grand Puba, may grant the exclusive use of the Grill Room, Cocktail Lounge or Reading Room.

 

VII

No intoxicating liquors will be served to a minor.

 

VIII

Members and guests must personally sign all checks for charges, sales and services. No cash shall be accepted by any employee of the Society unless specifically authorized to do so by the Treasurer or the Grand Puba.

 

IX

Bedrooms may be used by members of the Society or their guests. No person may occupy a room for more than 14 consecutive days without the approval of the House Committee. Unless notice is given before noon of intent to vacate a room, its use will be charged to the occupant for that day. Application for bedrooms must be made at the office. A charge for a reserved room will be made to members if not canceled 24 hours before the date of use. Any member calling after 6 P.M. may rent a room, if available, at a price established by the Executive Committee. Individuals or groups may use a room for bath and dressing for a charge of twenty-five dollars.

Members and their guests must be properly attired in order to use the Society facilities. Formal fishing attire shall be required dress at all times. If you have not recently received a copy of the International Golden Pike Society's "IGPS official clothing manual" additional copies are available upon request.

 

XI

Members and their guests are encouraged to give gratuities to Directors and Founders in return for possible special favors. Members also have the opportunity to express their appreciation for good service by contributing annually to the Christmas Fund which is distributed to all employees.

 

XII

No member or guests shall reprimand an employee, but shall submit complaints and suggestions to the Grand Puba or, in writing, to the Executive Committee.

 

XIII

No photographs shall be taken in any part of the Society facilities or on any part of the premises except with the prior authorization of the Executive Committee.

 

 

XIV

For purposes of National Security, no member of the Society shall issue or release, or knowingly permit or cause to be issued or released, any publicity relating to any function, meeting or other gathering held in by the Society which names or otherwise identifies the Society as the place of such gathering without the prior authorization of the Executive Committee.

 

XV

Any member violating any of the House Rules set forth herein or by reciprocal Clubs or whose conduct is considered to be inappropriate or not in keeping with that which one would expect of a member of the Society shall be subject to the provisions of Article III, Section V of the By-Laws relating to violations of rules of the Society and other matters.

 

XVI

Briefcases or business paper work are not permitted in the Main Dining Room, Grill Room, nor Marlboro Lounge.

 

XVII

Cellular telephones may not be used within the facilities or during Tournament Play.
